Habitat for Humanity of Council Bluffs will soon begin construction on six townhomes in Minden, IA. To learn more about these homes and apply for homeownership, register for an upcoming information session hosted at the Minden Fire Hall. The construction of these homes was made possible through a Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) for disaster relief. For the first four months, priority will be given to households impacted by the 2019 floods. After that, anyone who attended an information session and applied will be considered.
Flood impact does not necessarily mean you lost your home. It can include things like road closures or other disruptions. We encourage you to reach out to discuss your personal situation and see if you may qualify.
