Walnut's annual father's day weekend antique show is rated as one of the best antiques and collectibles sales in the country. The 2024 version will be our 41st in the past 42 years. The event brings as many as 250 vendors from all over the country to peddle their wares in Walnut, a town of 800 people in southwest Iowa. The 2023 sale saw upwards of 25,000 people converge on our town, as we shut down several streets to accommodate the event. Parking and admission are free, and several food vendors will be present as well. This is not a flea market - if you're into true antiques, primitives and collectibles, the Walnut Antique Show is the place to find it and buy it!

First Friday Food Truck

11:00AM to 1:00PM | The Occasional Collective · Treynor

Mark your calendars for the first Friday of every month, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm, and join in as The Occasional Collective brings the flavor to Treynor. We'll transform the South TS Bank parking lot into a slice of foodie heaven right here in our little rural community. The Occasional Collective is passionate about making a positive impact in our community, and that's why a portion of all in-store sales during #FirstFridayFoodTruck events will be donated to local area food pantries, including Treynor, Riverside, and CB. By participating, you'll not only be enjoying delicious food and supporting local businesses, but you'll also be directly contributing to the fight against food insecurity in our community. Together, let's make #FirstFridayFoodTruck a delicious tradition that nourishes our community in more ways than one! Events are Scheduled every first Friday from March 1st until November 1st. Please check the website or Facebook to confirm the details.
