Rock Island Old Stone Arch Nature Trail

Overview

Nearly four miles long, the Rock Island Old Stone Arch Nature Trail runs along what once was a railbed. The trail is mostly in Shelby County but extends into Pottawattamie County with a trailhead near the Shelby exit on Interstate 80. 

The trail runs through a variety of scenery, including creeks, wetlands, woods, and prairies.
