Hitchcock Nature Center Trails

Overview

Explore the Loess Hills along Hitchcock Nature Center's 10-mile trail system. The trails offer opportunities for birdwatching, snowshoeing, running, and backcountry camping. The trails link together so visitors can lengthen their hikes as long as they'd like and choose from looped or one-way options.

Parking

Parking is available in eight areas at Hitchcock Nature Center, including two at the campgrounds and six leading up to the Loess Hills Lodge. An overflow lot is also available between the park entrance and the Loess Hills Lodge.
