Squirrel Cage Jail Tour & Complimentary Wine Tasting

We are having special Sunday tours on September 13th to celebrate the 135th Anniversary of the opening weekend of the Squirrel Cage Jail in 1885. We will also be re-releasing our award-winning wine "Doing Time". All tours will have a complimentary wine tasting for those ages 21 and up. We will have four wines available to taste and available for purchase: Doing Time, and Behind Bars are our two reds, and we will have our two new whites, Solitary and Lockdown. Tours must be booked by reservation, tickets are $10 available only online. Tours will be combined with other groups. The tours will be every hour on the hour. (1:00 p.m. , 2:00 p.m. , and 3:00 p.m.)
All guests will be required to wear masks/face shields while in the building. Guests will have their temperatures taken before entering the building. Staff will also have their temperatures checked before their shifts and will be asked about COVID-19 symptoms. Staff will be required to wear masks. There will be additional hand sanitizer stations available for use. We have also increased our cleaning efforts, we will be deep cleaning every morning, cleaning high touch areas during the day, and another cleaning at the close of each day. Tours will not be private but will be combined with other individuals.
