Join us & celebrated educator Ron Cisar for May's Morels, Fungi & Lichen session of "A Land Ethic Workshop." This program will be held at Hitchcock Nature Center and is perfect for anyone with an interest in conservation and a desire to develop a better understanding of the natural world outside their own front door. 

Enjoy a full morning of instruction & learning, including:

  • Common mushroom, fungi, & lichen identification study
  • A discussion of fungal structure & adaptations
  • A look at tern & plover conservation efforts
  • A reading & discussion of Aldo Leopold's essay "Back from the Argentine"

Ages 14+. $15 per person.
