Join naturalist and artisan Dustin Clayton for an exploration of how some of our native (and invasive) plants can be used to create beautiful, useful fibers. Learn how to select appropriate plants in a sustainable and ecologically helpful manner, how to dry and preserve your material, how to separate fibers from plant stalks, and how to utilize the reverse twist method to create strong, beautiful cordage that can be used in a variety of craft applications and survival scenarios.
