Missouri River Relief is hosting a large-scale cleanup in Council Bluff's and Omaha's reach of the Missouri River! Boats will ferry teams of volunteers to locations along the Missouri River for a couple hours to gather trash for later disposal. Volunteers will receive a free Big Muddy boat ride, t-shirt, reusable water bottle, and lunch! Lunch will be served to all volunteers as boats return to the park. Trash pickup materials and a life jacket will be provided, but please feel free to bring your own well-fitted life jackets!

When you return to the park, there will be a handful of activities you can participate in while enjoying your lunch, including our lively trash contest, our Missouri River Explorer Badge Program and Clean Rivers Start at Home. Check out the event webpage for more details about the cleanup and to get registered! Volunteer slots do fill up fast.
