Celebrate November’s Nature’s Recyclers session of A Land Ethic Workshop with educator Ron Cisar at Hitchcock Nature Center. This program is ideal for anyone interested in conservation and eager to develop a deeper understanding of the natural world right outside their own front door.

Our November program participants will enjoy a full morning of instruction & learning, including:

  • The process of nature's annual decomposition
  • The organisms responsible for breaking down organic matter in nature
  • Continued nature journaling practice
  • A reading & discussion of Aldo Leopold's essay "Odyssey" & "A Mighty Fortress"
  • Identifying Trees in Winter

This program is intended for participants aged 14 and older with an interest in the natural world. No experience or prior knowledge is required to participate. $15 per person. Online pre-registration is required as space is limited.
