Every Christmas season, the Historical Society of Pottawattamie County sponsors an event where some of the fantastic historical homes in Council Bluffs are decorated for the holidays and open for the public to tour. This year, four of the eight homes on the tour are listed on the National Register of Historic Places and are definitely places you've driven by and will recognize. It's a great way to get you and your family ready for the Christmas season.
Prepaid tickets can be picked up at the Bregant House, 517 South Fourth Street in Council Bluffs, starting at 11 AM the day of the tour. You will be given a map and can then visit the other homes in any order.
