Hidden History of a Carnegie Library: Group Tour

January 12 | 5:30 - 6:30 p.m.
Council Bluffs Public Library

Meet us at the Council Bluffs Public Library for a short walk over to the old Carnegie library, now the home of the Union Pacific Railroad Museum. We will take a tour of the Hidden History of the Carnegie Library to learn about the architecture and the history of this amazing building. Architecture can communicate a lot about a building’s purpose, its place in a community, and the time in which it was built. Explore the language of architecture, the story of our building, and its place in local and national history. You’ll never look at this building in the same way again.

Space is limited and registration is required.
